Add Kind Words to your site

Squarespace

1. Open the page where the recommendations go, then press Edit.
2. Click Add block, then Code.
3. Click the pencil on the new block, set Type to HTML, and paste your code.
4. Click Save.

The moving parts need a Core plan or higher. On a Personal plan the recommendations still show, just without the motion. One code block holds about 300,000 characters.

Wix

1. Click Add Elements and open Embed Code. Choose Embed HTML.
2. Press Enter Code on that element, drop yours in, then hit Apply.
3. Drag the edges of the element until the whole section shows.
4. Click Publish. Saving alone keeps it off your live site.

Wix Studio keeps the same element under Add Elements, in Embed & Social. Wix shows pasted code in a frame of its own, so the recommendations use the browser’s font instead of yours.

WordPress

1. In the page editor, click the plus to add a block and choose Custom HTML.
2. Click Edit HTML, paste what you copied, and press Update.
3. Click Publish.

On WordPress.com, pasted code works on a paid plan with hosting features turned on, which happens when you install your first plugin. On a self-hosted site, sign in as an administrator so the block keeps everything you pasted.

Webflow

1. Open the Add panel and drag a Code Embed onto the page.
2. Paste it in, then click Save and close.
3. Click Publish, pick your domains, and confirm.

Code Embed comes with a paid Webflow plan and holds 50,000 characters. Pictures make the code longer, so switch off Photos in the builder, or hand the downloaded file to whoever builds your site.

Framer

1. Open Insert, search for Embed, and drag one onto your page.
2. Put the snippet in the HTML field of the Embed.
3. Publish, then open your published page to see the recommendations.

The Framer canvas leaves pasted code switched off, so the live page is where they appear.

Shopify

1. Go to Online Store and click Edit theme.
2. Pick the page from the menu at the top of the editor.
3. Click Add section, choose Custom Liquid, and drop your snippet in.
4. Click Save, then Publish if the theme is live.

A Custom Liquid section holds 50 KB. If Shopify says the code is too long, leave the pictures out by turning off Photos. Some themes leave Custom Liquid out.

Carrd

1. Click Add Element, then Embed.
2. Choose Code as the Type, then paste into the box below it. Set the Style to Inline.
3. Click Publish, then confirm the changes.

Embeds come with Carrd Pro Standard or higher. The recommendations show on the published site, while the Carrd editor leaves the spot blank.
